Rudy Indarsingh

Mr. Rudranath Indarsingh was re-elected to represent the constituents of Couva South on Monday September 7, 2015. He was first elected to the same constituency on May 24, 2010, following the General Election for the 10th Republican Parliament.

Mr. Indarsingh previously served as an Opposition Senator on one occasion during the 8th Republican Parliament, during which he participated in the Budget Debate of 2002.

Rudranath or Rudy as he is commonly called held several key positions in Government ranging from Minister of State in the Ministry of Finance and the Economy, Minister of State in the Ministry of Local Government, Minister of State in the Ministry of Labour and Small and Micro Enterprise Development and Minister of State in the Ministry of Works and Transport.

A highly educated man, Rudy holds a bachelors in Agronomy, a Master of Science degree in International Relations and Master of Science degree in Strategic Leadership and Management.

A dedicated and determined Member of Parliament and a stalwart of the UNC, Rudy continues to fight for the people of Couva South as they rally for good governance and a return of Kamla Persad Bissessar as the Prime Minister.
