GOSPEL ARTISTE: Sherwin Gardner

Serving God remains number one priority to gospel act Sherwin Gardner. Gardner’s praise music may have made him a household name around the Caribbean region, but he says pleasing his lord and saviour and being accepted into his kingdom supersedes every earthly goal he has set.

“As musicians and singers or gospel stars as some people say, we are doing this for the kingdom. Minus being a star, minus being a musician I am a Christian first and serving Jesus takes priority. Just like everybody else we have to walk right, live right and do everything according to the Bible because the key goal is to make it to heaven,” Gardner told the Express during an open exchange on Friday.
