Dloxx has a dream of returning Trinidad and Tobago to the good ole days. The 33-year-old Sangre Grande based entertainer first made that wish public in 2017 when he released the single “Take It Down” with Machel Montano calling for T&T to “Stop the violence and take it down”.

Two years on in the face of rising violent crimes Dloxx, born Dolton Jeremiah, still remains hopeful. He says the days of love and unity his grandparents told him about can once again be a reality in this country.

That day I saw him trimming the croton tree by the villa (Tamarind House) which he maintained in the village. He smiled widely when he introduced himself using his real name- Sydney Jefferson Grant.
