On the outside many people look like they have it all. They have money, fame, good looks, live in a mansion, “the perfect marriage” and children. However, inside they are broken. They are perfectly fine on the outside, smile, wave, laugh and know all the right things to say.
As famously quoted in the book Walden by Henry David Thoreau originally published in 1854, “The mass of men lead lives of quiet desperation.”
