This in a nutshell is what the guidelines describe as the procedure for the conduct of the Electoral College meeting tomorrow on the impeachment motion in the chamber of the House of Representatives.
The Opposition is not backing down in its bid to remove President Paula-Mae Weekes from office.
In fact, by letter dated October 18, 2021 Opposition Leader Kamla Persad-Bissessar wrote to the President stating that she must pause the process of appointing a new Police Service Commission (PolSC) as she has lost moral and ethical grounds to continue the process.
The authorities must pay close attention to events such as the explosion on Monday as it can be very damaging for the capital city and the country at large.
This is the view of Downtown Owners and Merchants Association (DOMA) president Gregory Aboud.

Reports of a bomb scare spread like wildfire at the Complex, called the “Twin Towers”. The first tower houses the Central Bank and the second tower houses the Finance Ministry.
Opposition Leader Kamla Persad-Bissessar says she intends to write to Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) Roger Gaspard SC to ask if he gave consent to Attorney General Faris Al-Rawi to advise police on the investigation into Christian Chandler, head of Legal at the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS).
