Four suspects have been arrested in connection with the chopping murder of a 19-year-old in Carapo on Saturday night.
Officers of the Northern Division Operation Suppression Unit responded to the report around 7:45pm at Passion Lane, Carapo.
When they got there, officers were told that the victim, identified as Travis Sinanan, had been attacked and chopped about the body by a group of men, who escaped into the bushes.
The victim’s relatives transported him to the Arima Health Facility for treatment. He was transferred to the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex, where he died at around 9:35pm.
The officers conducted investigations and later arrested four male suspects who were occupants of a white Nissan Frontier pick-up truck.
The suspects are two 30-year-olds and a 27-year-old all of Carapo and a 23year-old of Arima.
