A mother and her son are expected to appear before a Scarborough magistrate today, charged with the 2018 murder of Angkell Thomas.
The charges were laid on Saturday, after investigators consulted with the Deputy Director of Public Prosecutions Joan Honore-Paul.
Police received instructions to charge Shelly Ann Douglas, 46, and her son Rodelle Douglas, 20, with Thomas’ murder.
Both mother and son are unemployed and reside at Signal Hill, Tobago.
Thomas was stabbed on August 21, following an altercation at Lambeau, Tobago.
He died the following day at the Scarborough General Hospital.
