CEASE ALL DEALINGS: Dr Roodal Moonilal

PRIME Minister Dr Keith Rowley has accused Oropouche East MP Dr Roodal Moonilal of jeopardising the bid by the Oilfields Workers’ Trade Union (OWTU) to take over the former Petrotrin refinery at Pointe-a-Pierre.

But Moonilal has dismissed Rowley’s comments as “laughable”. During the 2020 budget debate in Parliament last Tuesday, Moonilal raised questions about the OWTU’s Patriotic Energy and Technologies Company acquiring the former Petrotrin refinery. He questioned whether Vidya Deokiesingh of A&V Oil was responsible for a meeting between the OWTU and Sunstone Equity.
