FIVE officials from the Licensing Authority were among six people who stood before a Port of Spain magistrate yesterday morning accused of fraud, conspiracy and misbehaviour charges related to the re-registration of a vehicle stolen from a Petit Valley man last year.

The sixth person, who said he was involved in events production, was accused of stealing the Hyundai Tucson vehicle before the other five attempted to have the car registered to a new owner. They appeared before Magistrate Adia Mohammed in the First Court, accused of committing the offences sometime between August 28 and November 8 at Petit Valley and the Licensing office, Wrightson Road, Port of Spain.
