The Bocas Lit Fest has announced the three writers vying for the Johnson and Amoy Achong Caribbean Writers Prize for emerging writers.

They are Heather Baker of Barbados, with her story The Art of Bonsai; from Guyana, Subraj Singh’s I Dreamt of Whales and a Storm put him on the shortlist; and Jamaica’s Sharma Taylor, with Son Son’s Birthday, also made the short list.
