Crime scene USE THIS ONE

POLICE are asking the public to help identify the body of a woman found yesterday in Valencia.

Police said that around 7 a.m., a motorist spotted the body obliquely opposite a road to enter the Tapana Quarry, off Toco Main Road in Valencia.

She appeared to be of African descent, with stab wounds to her chest and there were bruises to her face.

The “Jane Doe”, who may be in her mid-30s, was found with a wig/weave. She was clad in short pants, a red top and was approximately five feet, four inches tall.

The woman was slim to medium build with two tattoos on her shoulder, one with the word “Blunt”, while the other tattoo was a marijuana leaf.

Anyone with information that leads to the identity of the victim or which could assist with the crime probe should contact the Region Two Homicide Bureau at 640-7815 or any police station.
