A Longdenville man is expected to appear before a Chaguanas Magistrate today, charged with the murder of Kurt Edwards on Saturday.
Kosi Jeremiah, 40, of Lamont Street, Chaguanas, was charged with the offence following advice received from Deputy Director of Public Prosecutions, Joan Honore-Paul.
Edwards, 28, of Longdenville, Chaguanas, was found dead with stab wounds in the vicinity of the Longdenville Hindu Temple. He was seen arguing with a man before the discovery.
Jeremiah was arrested by officers of the Longdenville Police Post on that same date.
Investigations were supervised by Insp. (Ag.) Darryl Corrie and Insp. (Ag.) Allister Jones, both of the Homicide Bureau of Investigations (HBI), Region 3, while Jeremiah was charged by WPC Prince.
