GUNMEN chased a Palo Seco man into the bushes at the back of his house and shot him on Friday.

Winston Richards, 37, was struck multiple times and died in the bushes.

Police said they do not as yet know the motive for Richards’s killing as he had a clean police record.

Around 6.50 a.m. Richards was outside his home at Beach Road when three men with firearms approached him.

Richards fled into the bushes but the gunmen pursued him.

Insp Darryl Corrie of Homicide Region III, ASP Peter Ramdeen and Cpl Lake of South Western Police Division led a police team to the crime scene.

The killing took the murder toll to 498 according to an Express tally.
