National Security Minister Stuart Young will be hosting a National Discussion on Crime on Tuesday.
It will be held at the National Academy for the Performing Arts (NAPA), Port of Spain beginning at 9:a.m.
Also in attendance will be Chief of Defence Staff, Air Commodore Darryl Daniel, Commissioner of Police Gary Griffith, Acting Commissioner of Prisons Dane Clarke, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of National Security Vel Lewis and other members of the National Security A
A Media Conference will be at 1:30 p.m. at the same venue.
According to the Ministry, the aim of the meeting is to bring together diverse groups to discuss the current crime situation and to proffer possible solutions to deal with crime and the fear of crime in Trinidad and Tobago.
