Joshua Alexander and Ryan Jordan fired Morvant Caledonia AIA to the top of the Ascension Invitational Division One standings thanks to a 2-0 victory against Terminix La Horquetta Rangers over the weekend.

After a 0-0 half-time score, Alexander scored the opening goal for Caledonia in the 57th minute before Jordan netted in the 78th to give them a hard-fought 2-0 victory.

Meanwhile, Defence Force fell to a 2-1 defeat against Club Sando FC to fall to second place. Club Sando took a 2-0 lead at the half-time break following goals from Nion Lammy and Michael Basdeo in the 43rd and 45th minutes respectively.

Club Sando maintained their two-goal for most of the second half before Hashim Arcia pulled one back for Army one minute from full time.
