Defending champions Richer Perez and Aurelia Rutto will be back to defend their titles when the third edition of the Tobago International Sea to Sea Marathon takes place in May.

This was announced yesterday at the launch of the May 19-20 event at the VIP Lounge of the Hasely Crawford Stadium.

Perez is also the defending Pan American and CAC Games champion. Rutto is a United States-based Kenyan.

In addition, four-time UWI SPEC Half-Marathon winner George Towett will be coming as well as current women’s T&T Marathon champ Leah Kigen.
