Trinidad and Tobago Football Association (TTFA) president David John Williams, has sought to clarify the situation with regards to outstanding match fee payments to members of the senior men’s football team.

It has been reported on the Wired 868 website that the national players were threatening a boycott if they were not paid outstanding monies.

In response yesterday, John-Williams said the senior national footballers have been paid outstanding fees for more than two matches. While he did not go into details about the payments made or payments to be made, John-Williams did indicate that the TTFA will be addressing the matter soon.
